In Collin County, voting was brisk, said Collin County elections administrator Sharon Rowe.
Lines several dozen people deep started forming early at voting sites in Allen, McKinney and Plano. "There has been a steady stream of voters all day," Ms. Rowe said.In 2004 the number of first day election results in Collin County was 9,137 which was 2.47 percent of registered voters. This year the number was 13,900 which was 3.27 percent of registered voters. Second day voting turnout was about the same.
